You can always expect something special when Anjuna team-mates join forces and this latest hybrid from full-time melody maker Øistein Johan Eide (better known as Boom Jinx) and the in-form Oliver Smith certainly doesn’t disappoint.
‘Eternal Reminiscence’ saw Øistein bringing his sound into trancier domains and on ‘Sunrise’ his gorgeous melodies balance nicely with Olie’s energetic and club-ready rhythms; the Original Mix is an explosive fusion of lingering piano keys, floating breakdowns and epic choruses, all neatly tied in with a killer melody that you won’t be forgetting in a hurry!
Checking in for the first remix is Anjuna newcomer Joost van der Vleuten, who softens things up and takes the sound into blissful, slightly deeper realms whilst keeping the delightful original melody as the focal point. Anjunadeep lynchpin Jaytech then takes it into full-on, synth-inspired progressive mode with an airy, easygoing and shimmering reworking built around a signature Cayzer groove, rounding off a stunning release that will no doubt find favour whenever and wherever it gets a spin!
