2009 was without doubt the year of Mat Zo as the talented young producer wowed us time and time again with his distinctive productions blending elements of trance, progressive and tech. With that in mind, it is perhaps appropriate that '24 Hours' kicks things off on Anjunabeats in 2010. A brooding progressive work driven by punchy beats and rolling basslines, its twisted yet touching melody knits things together nicely and makes this another essential bit of listening from one of Anjuna's hottest prospects.
Remix duties are assigned to Olie Smith, who turns out a trancey and hypnotic mix underpinned by buzzing grooves. Fingers crossed there's more to come over the next twelve months!
